Fugitive gangster Anmol Bishnoi, brother of jailed criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, has been detained in California. Anmol is a key figure in the Bishnoi gang’s criminal network and is wanted in India for multiple high-profile cases, including the 2022 murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
Anmol Bishnoi gained notoriety for his alleged involvement in a shooting incident near Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence. Reports suggest that threats to Salman Khan were linked to the Bishnoi gang, adding to their long history of criminal activities.
The arrest comes as a major breakthrough for Indian authorities, who have been pursuing Anmol across international borders. Anmol faces 20 criminal cases, including two registered by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which recently announced a ₹10 lakh reward for information leading to his arrest, according to India Today.
