She said “My name was being used while the unethical practices were theirs and that is why I resigned”

A doctor in Chandigarh Dr. Prabhleen Kaur has resigned on her very first day at a private hospital raising concerns about how patient admissions and ICU stays are being handled.

Video goes viral on social media

In a video shared on social media the doctor alleged that the hospital management was influencing how long patients would remain admitted and how long they would be kept in the ICU and also claimed that the decisions were not fully medical-based.

“Naam mera, galat kaam unke”

She said “My name was being used while the unethical practices were theirs and that is why I resigned” she also added in the video “Naam mera, galat kaam unke” meaning her name was being associated while the actions were not hers.

According to her the hospital owner was involved in deciding the duration of patient admissions including ICU stays and she further alleged that patients were being kept in intensive care for longer durations than necessary.
