Former India captain Sourav Ganguly on Wednesday has been appointed as the chairperson of the International Cricket Council Men’s Cricket Committee. He replaced former international teammate Anil Kumble who took over the role in 2012 and served for a three-year term. ICC Chair Greg Barclay welcomed Ganguly, saying he “will help us shape our cricketing decisions moving forward." He further thanked Anil Kumble for his outstanding leadership.
