Bollywood actress Esha Deol on Tuesday morning denied reports claiming that her father Dharmendra has passed away. Multiple reports quoted Dharmendra's team and stated that the actor breathed his last on November 11, 2025.
The confusion around Dharmendra's death can be understood by the fact that Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh deleted his tweet in which he had wrote a condolence message on Dharmendra's death.
Rajnath Singh wrote, "Deeply saddened by the demise of veteran actor and former MP Shri Dharmendra ji. A versatile actor who brought life to many memorable characters with his unmatched charm and sincerity. His remarkable contribution to Indian cinema will always be remembered. My heartfelt condolences to his family and admirers."
Now, Rajnath Singh has deleted his tweet.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath also took to his X handle and wrote a condolence message for Dharmendra. However, he also soon deleted his tweet.
On October 31, the actor, was kept under strict medical observation by top doctors at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
The exact cause of his illness is unclear; however, according to reports at that time stated that the veteran star visited the hospital for a routine check-up and had been staying there since for additional examinations.
On the professional front, Dharmendra was last seen in the movie Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya in 2024. The movie starred actors Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. The actor is set to star next in the movie 'Ikkis', directed by ace director Sriram Raghavan.
The movie stars Agastya Nanda and Simar Bhatia. The movie is a war drama based on the life of Arun Khetarpal, the youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient.
