A small moment of luck turned into a life-changing experience for an auto driver from Punjab as in the middle of all the buzz around ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ and Ranveer Singh a simple auto-rickshaw driver Harjeet has quietly become part of the story that too without even trying.
Harjeet revealed that he didn’t chase the role or audition for it and shares he had gone to Amritsar just to drop off some passengers when he randomly got the opportunity to be in the film and it all happened by chance and at that time he didn’t even realise what he was getting into, in fact during the shoot too he didn’t know how big of a star Ranveer Singh was.
Harjeet appears in the climax scene of the film where Ranveer’s character returns to his hometown in Pathankot and rides in his auto and what started as a normal work day turned into a moment that’s now part of a blockbuster film. Talking about his experience Harjeet said Ranveer was very humble and kind on set and described him as “superb” and said he felt comfortable working with him.
Earlier Harjeet had shared that he couldn’t afford to watch the film with his family because ticket prices were too high but now an NGO has stepped in and gifted tickets for him and his entire family making sure he could finally see himself on the big screen. Harjeet says he feels blessed and grateful for everything that happened to him from landing the role by pure luck to now watching the film with his loved ones.
