During a recent live interaction, Diljit responded to a comment about his desire to travel and visit more places, opening up about how public perception often makes even simple choices complicated.
He said he wants to visit a lot of places, but acknowledged that “people say a lot of things.” And instead of getting caught up in explaining every decision, Diljit leaned into a philosophy he has repeated before — you shouldn’t have to explain yourself too much.
“Think Of Me However You Want”
Diljit made it clear that people are free to form their own opinions about him.
His message was essentially: think of me however you want — you’re free to do so.
For Diljit, the answer isn't another clarification, another justification or a detailed explanation of his intentions.
“I don’t care, bro.”
And that attitude appears to be exactly why he decided to name his playlist “I’m An Artist, Bro.”
25 Years Of Work, No Need To Explain
Diljit pointed toward his long journey in the entertainment industry, saying he has been working for around 25 years.
His argument was simple: after all these years, people who have followed his journey already know him — and, more importantly, they know his intentions.
He suggested that those who have watched his career closely also know the number of situations and problems he has faced along the way.
But Diljit said he doesn't want to keep listing them.

Perhaps the strongest part of his response came when he addressed the problems he has faced.
Rather than using those experiences to seek sympathy, Diljit said he doesn't want to talk about them because he doesn't play the victim.
That line adds another layer to the playlist name.
“I’m An Artist, Bro” isn't simply a quirky title. It reflects the identity Diljit seems to be asserting — that his work, music and art should speak for him, rather than him constantly having to defend or explain himself.
Let People Think What They Want
Diljit's response ultimately came down to letting go of the need to control public perception.
