September 22- As per RBI Calendar, banks will remain closed in Jaipur. The reason behind bank holiday in Jaipur on September 22 is Navratra Sthapna. Navratra Sthapna marks the the start of Navratri festival i.e. 9 avatars of Goddess Durga.
September 23- Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar on this date. Bank Holiday on September 23 in Jammu and Kashmir is to mark the occasion of Birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji.
September 29- Banks will remain closed in Agartala, Guwahati, and Kolkata on this date. The reason being Maha Saptami/Durga Puja.
September 30- Banks will remain closed in Agartala, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Imphal, Jaipur, Kolkata, Patna, and Ranchi. Bank Holidays on September 30 is because of Maha Ashtami/Durga Ashtami/Durga Puja.
Apart from above mentioned dates, banks remain closed on second and fourth Saturday apart from Sundays.
It means, banks will remain closed in entire India on September 21, September 27 and September 28. While September 21 and September 28 are Sundays, September 27 is Fourth Saturday, meaning a bank holidays in overall India.
