As per the holiday list announced by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks in various states across the nation will remain closed for a total of 18 days in March this year. The list features five Sundays, the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, and 11 regional holidays.
All the customers are advised to plan their visits to the branches in advance and check the list of holidays for their respective states to avoid any inconveniences. However, it is noteworthy that the bank holidays differ from state to state depending on the local festivals and holidays so subsequently, the number of working days will also differ respectively. However, online banking, mobile banking apps, and ATMs will function during the holidays as per usual.
