Online banking, mobile banking apps, and ATMs will function during the holidays as per usual

As per the holiday list announced by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks in various states across the nation will remain closed for a total of 18 days in March this year. The list features five Sundays, the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, and 11 regional holidays.

All the customers are advised to plan their visits to the branches in advance and check the list of holidays for their respective states to avoid any inconveniences. However, it is noteworthy that the bank holidays differ from state to state depending on the local festivals and holidays so subsequently, the number of working days will also differ respectively. However, online banking, mobile banking apps, and ATMs will function during the holidays as per usual.

14 March – Second Saturday

17 March – Shab-e-Qadr in Jammu & Kashmir

19 March – Navratri & other regional festivals in 11 states

20 March – Eid al-Fitr & Jamat ul-Vida in 5 states

21 March – Ramzan Eid & Sarhul in all states

22 March – Sunday

26 March – Sri Ram Navami in 13 states

27 March – Sri Ram Navami in 6 states

28 March – Second Saturday

29 March – Sunday  

31 March – Sri Mahavir Jayanti in 15 states
