The name of Dr Umar Mohammad has come up in Delhi Blast case. Dr Umar Mohammad is said to be the suspected driver of the white Hyundai car that exploded near the Red Fort metro station in Delhi.

Umar’s mother, Shamima and two brothers, Zahoor and Ashiq, have been detained by police for questioning and also for matching the DNA. Dr Umar is believed to have carried out the suicide blast, apparently in panic after his associates, Dr Muzamil and Dr Adil, were arrested by the police.
Dr. Shaheen Shahid also worked at the Al-Falah University in Faridabad. She was one of the doctors from the institution arrested on Monday. As per NDTV repport. Dr. Shaheen was allegedly tasked with establishing the women's wing of the Pakistani terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed.
She is also a suspect in the deadly suicide blast near the Red Fort in Delhi on Monday, in which at least nine people were killed. She is also from Lucknow. Raids are also carried out by ATS in Lucknow.
Shaheen and her brother Parvez (arrested now) are said to be children of Saeed Ansari. Shaheen was selected through the Public Service Commission and became an assistant professor at the Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Medical College in Kanpur.
Dr Adil Ahmad Rather is among the key men who have been arrested in the case. For the unversed, it was after the arrest of Dr Adil Ahmad Rather, a Kashmiri doctor from Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur, explosives were recovered in Faridabad.
Rather was detained for allegedly putting up posters supporting the proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed in Srinagar.
Following Rather's revelations during interrogation, police teams conducted multiple raids in Faridabad, where the explosives and arms were found stored with another doctor identified as Mujammil.
Adil Ahmad Rather is a resident of Qazigund in South Kashmir. He served as a senior resident at Government Medical College (GMC) in Anantnag until October 2024.
Mujammil, a resident of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, worked at AL Falah Medical College and Hospital in Faridabad. During the search in Faridabad, he was arrested in the explosives case.
The officials mentioned that he had been living in a rented room in Faridabad's Dhoj area for the past three and a half years.
Mujammil was arrested by the police 10 days ago after strong evidence linking him to Jaish-e-Mohammed was discovered.
Faridabad police recovered a Swift car based on Mujammil's information. This car belongs to a woman doctor working at Al-Falah Hospital. The Kirnkov assault rifle was seized from this car.
