Bihar Election 2025 Result has started to come in and it seems like the NDA wave has blown away the grand alliance led by Tejaswi Yadav's RJD. As per Election Commission of India (ECI), as of 1:46 pm on November 14, the ruling NDA was leading in 198 seats -- BJP with 91, JD(U) with 80, LJP(RV) with 22 and HAMS with 5.
For the unversed, in the 243 members of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, 122 seats are needed for a majority.
While Tejaswi's grand alliance is unlikely to gain power, Shahabuddin’s son and RJD candidate- Osama Sahab is leading from Raghnathpur constituency and eyeing a big victory in Bihar Election 2025.
For the unversed, Osama is leading by 14803 votes in Raghnathpur. JDU's Vikas Kumar Singh is number 2 on the list.

The character of Haroon Shah Ali Baig played by Vineet Kumar Singh is inspired by Mohammad Shahabuddin. Shahabuddin died in a Delhi hospital, at the age of 53 after succumbing to complications stemming from COVID-19.
The politics of Siwan, Bihar, has long revolved around Shahabuddin. Now, in this Bihar Election, his son, Osama Shaheb, has entered the electoral fray to carry on Shahabuddin's political legacy. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has nominated him from Raghunathpur, cutting the ticket of its sitting MLA.
