As per China's state broadcaster, China has rescued its11 miners after they were trapped due to the underground explosion. They wererescued after 14 days today, January 24.
One of the miners was extremely weak and unresponsive.Rescuers wrapped him in the blanket and took him to a hospital.
Within sometime 10 other miners were rescued from anothersection of the mine as per a report published in Reuters news agency. Beforeleaving the site, the miners were seen wearing a black cloth on their eyes.They were rushed to the hospital.
According to several reports, 22 miners were trapped in a2,000 feet deep Hushan mine due to a blast in Qixia on January 10. Qixia is amajor gold producing region under the Shandong province.
