Post the clash between policemen and Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh, 18 Punjab Police Officers have been transferred from their posts. Out of 18 officers, 16 are IPS while the other two are PPS officers.
For the very first time ADGP rank officer Naunihal Singh has been appointed as the Police Commissioner of Amritsar. He also served as Jalandhar’s Police Commissioner.
