Commissionerof Police Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar today called upon the people to adhere byCovid precautions and protocols to save their own precious lives along withthat of their family members.
In astatement issued here today, the Commissioner of Police said that keeping inview the surge in Covid cases, people must take utmost precaution to keep thevirus at bay. He said that this was the high time when people must exerciseself restraint for checking the spread of Covid 19 pandemic. Mr. Bhullar saidthat Police would do its duty to enforce the mandatory covid protocol butpeople should voluntarily follow the rules for winning war against Corona.
TheCommissioner of Police said that the people have to play a vanguard role forfurther checking the spread of Covid 19 and should wear the mask and followsocial distancing at the public places. He said that the residents of Jalandharhave already combated the Corona virus successfully and now when threat ofvirus was again looming large the role of public enhanced has enhancedmanifolds. Mr. Bhullar said that people should help the administration forchecking the spread of Covid 19 further so that the state could be saved fromits wrath.
TheCommissioner of Police further said that in wake of the fresh guidelines issuedby the Punjab government led by the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, theJalandhar Commissionerate Police was fully geared up for meeting the newchallenge. He said that the directions of the Chief Minister would beimplemented in true letter and spirit in the larger public interest. Mr.Bhullar said that no stone would be left unturned by the Commissionerate Policeto serve the people of the district and to save their precious lives.
