After Nivar, Burevi alert

After Cyclone Nivar, another storm Burevi brews in Bay of Bengal. It may hit Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts on Dec 2 .The India Materiologic department has issued a precyclone watch for south TamilNadu and south Kerala. The depression over south west bay of Bengal moved west northwest way. Cyclone Burevi is expected to cross Sri Lanka on Wednesday. It is very like to move westward there after emerge in Camorin area on 3rd Dec. morning and move towards south Tamilnadu coast. According to IMD, '' weather conditions there could intensify into a cyclonic strom in coming hours. '

Just a day after Cyclone Nivar another storm Burevi may be developing in the Bay of Bengal. It may move towards TamilNadu and Puducherry and hit the coast on December 2.'' The Tamil Nadu Disaster Management Authority said, '' a low-pressure area was expected to develop over southeast Bay of Bengal and intensify further.
“A low-pressure area is very likely to form over Southeast Bay of Bengal. It would concentrate into a depression and is very likely to intensify further and move westwards and reach Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts. '' The storm uprooted more than 1,000 trees in the state and left several low-lying areas marooned. At least three people were killed in Tamil Nadu. In Tamil Nadu, some 2.30 lakh people were evacuated to safety in relief camps.
Andhra Pradesh too received a good amount of rain under the influence of the cyclonic storm. One death was also reported from the state. Howeve low pressure area likely to bring heavy rains to Odisha.
