After Rihanna, Former adult film star Mia Khalifa extends her support to farmers, says 'human rights violations going on'

Rihanna had shared a report which stated that the Modi Government has scrapped the internet services and there is an urgent need to address this.

Ever since Hollywood pop-star Rihanna talked about the ongoing protests of farmers in India, a huge debate is going on social media. While a section of people is slamming Rihanna for speaking without having the full knowledge, others are appreciating her and slamming Bollywood for remaining silent. Rihanna had shared a report which stated that the Modi Government has scrapped the internet services and there is an urgent need to address this. 

Now, former adult movie actress Mia Khalifa has also joined the discussion. Mia took to Twitter and said that the internet suspension for the protestors is a human rights violation. Mia wrote, "What in the human rights violations is going on?! They cut the internet around New Delhi?! #FarmersProtest". On Instagram, Mia wrote, "India has cut internet around New Delhi amidst farmers protest. What the Fu*k is going on?"

Earlier, Greta Thunberg also extended her support to the farmers and wrote, "We stand in solidarity with the #FarmersProtest in India."
