As per the latest development, 1 IPS officer and 8 PPS officers of Punjab police have been transferred. This transfer list came as an impact of escape of Amritpal Singh from Hoshiarpur.
Among these officers, Jalandhar Rural SSP has also been changed. Mukhwinder Singh has been appointed as SSP Jalandhar Rural in place of Shri Swarandeep Singh PPS
