Playback singer Shalmali Kholgade, who isknown for the song ‘Pareshaan’ in Ishaqzaade and ‘Balam Pichkari’ in Yeh Jawani hai Deewani, ties the knot with long-time boyfriend Farhan Shaikh on 22 November.
The intimate ceremony of the two lovebirdstook place in the presence of her close friends and family. The news of theirwedding came to light after the duo took to Instagram to share herwedding pictures.
On their wedding day, Shalmali wore an orangecotton saree with only jumhkas for the jewellery, and a white ‘gajra’ for thehair bun. And her husband, Farhan Shaikh opted for a plain orange kurta andwhite chudidaar pyjama. Their wedding garlands were quite interesting as theywere made of orange and white pom-poms and photographs of the couple.
Sharing pictures of their big day, Shalmaliwrote, "22nd November 2021 is the most precious day in my life thus far!The day I got married to my perfect match @farhanfshaikh"
"We had precisely the kind of wedding wehad hoped to have. In the living room of our home with our parents andsiblings, a few aunts and cousins," Shalmali added further.
Shalmali and Farhan were dating each otherfor the past six years. Their wedding was an intimate affair with some closefriends and family. But, they are going to throw a reception party for theirfriends from the industry on December 1.

Apart from singing, Shalmali made her filmdebut with a supporting role in the 2009 Ranjan Singh's East Indian Konkani-Marathi film TuMaza Jeev, which was released on Maharashtra Day. The film was a moderatesuccess at the Box Office India and earned mixed reviews, however, she waspraised for her performance.
