UAE Government's 1 Billion Followers Summit will see the 'ultimate gathering of content creators'. 1 Billion Followers Summit will be a three-day affair starting on January 11 and concluding on January 13, 2025. 1 Billion Summit will take place at The Emirates Towers, The Museum of the Future, & DIFC. What is the 1 Billion Followers Summit?

As per the official website, the 1 Billion Followers Summit is being organised by the Government of UAE to recognise that transforms communities. Content creators who will win 1B Award will be given $1 million. 1B Award 'honors creators whose scientific, cultural, humanitarian, educational, edutainment, etc. work drives positive change and progress within communities. This is the ultimate recognition for those shaping a better future through the power of content.'

1 Billion Followers Summit: How the winner will be selected?

Highest-voted projects will be announced online, gaining recognition on a global scale. Thereafter, the judges will select the ultimate winner to be celebrated at the 1Billion Followers Summit. 

How content creators can apply for 1 Billion Followers Summit?

Unfortunately, the last day of filing your nomination has been passed. The last date for applying at 1 Billion Summit was November 30th, 2024. Thereafter, 1 Billion Team selected top 10 projects that stood out for their vision and positive impact from December 1 to December 24, 2024. 

The shortlisted projects then underwent for public voting. Thereafter, the five highest-voted projects was announced on January 1, 2025. 

Creators of original, innovative content that positively impacts society. Eligible content should contribute to societal improvement and empower future generations to build a better future. This content should enrich community awareness, foster understanding and connection between nations, and promote compassion and empathy.

The final winner of 1 Billon Follower Summit will be announced on January 13, 2025.
