Mr Singh also confirmed that his party will have a seat-sharing arrangement with BJP.

The former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh is set to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah on October 28, tomorrow. He will lead a non-political delegation of agricultural expertsand discuss the farmers’ issue with the senior BJP leader.

The announcement was made by Capt’s media advisor Raveen Thukral on tweeter. “@capt_amarinder will lead a non-political delegation of agricultural experts to meet the Union HomeMinister @AmitShah to discuss possible solutions to the ongoing #FarmersProtest.” Thukral tweeted.

“We are taking around 25 to 30 people with us to meet the home minister,” said Capt.

The measure to resolve the farmers' issue comes after the senior Congress leader declared he’s launching his own party. He also confirmed that his party will have a seat-sharingarrangement with BJP.

‘Humiliated’ Captain after being ousted by the chair of CM has announced to quit Congress, and make an alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party for next year's Assembly electionsin the state if the farmers' issues are resolved in their interest.

Meanwhile, in a fresh spat with his arch nemesis Navjot Singh Sidhu, the latter called Capt a “BJP loyalist stalling the justice and development in Punjab.”

Following Sidhu’s tweet, Amarinder retaliated. He said, “He knows nothing, talks too much, doesn't have brains. I never spoke to Amit Shah or Dhindsa over this, but I'll.I want to be strong to fight Cong, SAD, AAP. I'll talk to them, we'll put up a united front to defeat these.”

“I'd been meeting all central ministers to discuss state issues. States can't function unless they work with the Centre. But I don't expect Sidhu to know anything aboutgood governance,” Capt added.
