TheCentral Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced its 27th AnnualNational Sahodya School Complex Conference on January 17 and 18. The conferencewill be conducted online due to covid restrictions. The theme of the conferencethis year is 'Punarnava- Rediscovery of India at 75'. The theme is focused onthe 75 years of independence of India.
Thevirtual meeting is supposed to be attended by more than 7000 leaders ofschools. The event will be organised by Sahodya Samiti, Gwalior. Thisconference will also be part of the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' program by the Ministryof Education.
The ChiefMinister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Governor Mangubhai C. Patelwill be present at the launch of the event. They will be accompanied by SubhasSarkar, minister of state, union minister of education and Chairman of CBSE ManojAhuja.
“Theevent includes sessions on game-based learning, music as a teaching tool,climate change, storytelling, archaeology, yoga, mental health and sports.Discussion on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 will also be held. Eminent andexperienced speakers from different domains will share their thoughts andexpertise with the participants. Apart from this, there will be a student artexhibition and e-souvenir presenting efforts by different schools inpreserving Indian heritage,” said the statement.
Thesession will be broadcast live on CBSE's official YouTube channel. The purposeof the meetings is to develop healthy relationships among schools and bringschools together.
