Centre Govt releases new SOP for preventing covid spread in rural areas

In India the situation is getting worse as the coronavirus is now entering in villages and towns which will affect more number of people.

Coronavirushas made life difficult to survive. It started in China and now it's all overthe world giving its worse effect on human. In India the situation is gettingworse as the coronavirus is now entering in villages and towns which willaffect more number of people.

Village-levelobservation, tele-consultation with community health officers, and training inrapid antigen testing are among the several areas of focus in the Centre's newSOPs to battle COVID-19 as the pandemic gradually moves to the semi-urban andrural areas of the country.

Centers-newSOP suggest that there should be proper management and precautions to be takenso that it doesn't distributes in the rural areas community. Health basedservice and Primary Health centres are equipped to take the responsibility andensure that the virus is not spreading all over the country and in that areastoo.

Theguideline says that there should be be proper strategy to be followed in thevillages for the surveillance of influenza like swear acute respiratoryproblems, illness with the help of village Health sanitization nutritioncommittee.

Ifpeople at villages have some symptoms of covid virus then it should be treatedat rural area hospitals but if there is need of oxygen cylinders then theyshould consult the doctors at big centres.

Checkingoxygen level is equally important as checking the the rest of the body duringthe the testing time. For this every Hospital in the rural area should haveoximeters and thermometer available, SOP mentioned.

Ifa person is home isolated he or she should be provided with home isolation kitwhich should contain Paracetamol, ivermectin, cough syrup, and a pamphlet inwhich all the precaution should be written so that a covid patient can followall the the protocols at home, a proforma to monitor patient health and alsothe contact number if the condition gets worse.

Theguidelines also says that, if the patient is isolated then he should beQuarantine for at least 10 days and will only be allowed to go out if he or shehas not got fever at least for 3 days. There is no need of testing after homeisolation.
