CM Mann in controversy: Sukhbir Badal alleges- 'Too drunk to walk' as Mann deplaned from Lufthansa flight; AAP denies

Sukhbir Singh Badal, the leader of the Shiromani Akali Dal, tweeted a demand for Mann and Kejriwal to clarify this

At Frankfurt Airport in Germany, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was deplaned from the flight. Sukhbir Singh Badal, the leader of the Shiromani Akali Dal, tweeted a demand for Mann and Kejriwal to clarify this. He said that these reports have made Punjabis all across the world feel ashamed.

On September 17, Bhagwant Mann was traveling back to Delhi from Germany. It is being said that during this time he was deplaned from a Lufthansa Airlines plane at Frankfurt Airport.

On Saturday at 1:40 pm, the plane was supposed to depart Frankfurt, according to the Lufthansa website. Due to the commotion, the plane was 4 hours late, arriving in Delhi at 4.30 am on Monday instead of the scheduled 12.55 pm.

The rest of the plane's passengers said that CM Mann was unable to walk normally because he had consumed so much alcohol. Security guards and his wife were taking care of him. Because of this, Mann was taken down citing security. The flight crew did not want to take a risk despite his staff's best efforts to keep him from landing. Another passenger says that due to this whole incident, the flight was delayed by four hours. On social media, CM Bhagwant Mann is getting criticism for this.

CM Mann is on the radar of opposition for this. SAD leader Sukhbir Badal tweeted, "Disturbing media reports quoting co-passengers say Pb CM @BhagwantMann was deplaned from Lufthansa flight as he was too drunk to walk. And it led to a 4-hour flight delay. He missed AAP's national convention. These reports have embarrassed & shamed Punjabis all over the globe."

Delhi Congress also called it Shameful to be dropped from the flight due to excessive intoxication. While sharing the news clipping related to this incident from the official Twitter account of the Delhi Congress, it was written that it is a matter of great shame.

On the other hand, AAP has dismissed this entire matter. Navneet Wadhwa, media in-charge of CM's office said that all these are nonsense. According to the schedule of the Chief Minister's visit to Germany, he was to stay in Germany till September 18.
