Jalandhar,January 26- The contingent of Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) was adjudgedthe best contingent of parade during the Republic Day celebrations.
TheChief guest of the day was Social Security, Women, and Child DevelopmentMinister Aruna Chaudhary handed over the prizes to winners.
InspectorPardeep Kumar of ITBP received the prize on behalf of contingent whereasSub-Inspector Bhushan Kumar led Punjab Police (Men) Contingent received thesecond best prize.
Thecontingent of Rapid Action Force led by Sub-Inspector Ali Sher Malik receivedthird prize.
Likewise,the contingents of Punjab Police (Women), Punjab Home Guards, National CadetCorps (NCC) Boys and NCC Girls bagged consolation prizes.
TheMinister also felicitated the parade commander IPS Jyoti Yadav who led thesplendid march past.
TheChief guest also congratulated the district administration for spectacularorganization of the Republic Day celebrations.
