Covid19 vaccination drive held at Cambridge School Co-ed

All the members of the school management, staff and support staff received the first dose of the vaccine.

Setting out an example for those who are resistant to getvaccinated, the Cambridge School Co-ed on Friday, organised a vaccination camp atthe school premises for the faculty and support staff of the Cambridge family.

The aim behind organising the vaccination camp at schoolwas to motivate people across state to get themselves vaccinated in order towin this battle against covid19.

A team of doctors from Jalandhar’s Patel Hospital visitedthe school campus to vaccinate the members of the management, faculty membersand support staff including guards, gardeners, maids, bus drivers, conductorsand among other staff, who received their first dose of vaccine.

The members of the management informed that an enthusiasticparticipation was witnessed in the drive. “The Cambridge (Co-ed) family has setan example for those who are still reluctant to get the vaccine jab”, theysaid.

They further said that the vaccination drive can help tobuild herd immunity resulting in breaking the transmission chain of theinfectious disease.

“The vaccination is now open for all people above the ageof 45 and any kind of ID can be produced for the getting jab. The people mustnot believe in the rumours surrounding the vaccine and should get themselvesvaccinated”, the members added.
