Jalandhar, February 12- Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thorion Friday directed the revenue officers to speed up the recovery from thewilful defaulters and any type of laxity will not be tolerated at any cost.
Presiding over a meeting to review the collection ofrecovery, revenue records, E-Court Management system here at DistrictAdministrative Complex today, Thori said that the revenue officers must givetop most priority to the collection of all recoveries for enhancing the revenueof the state government.
The Deputy Commissioner also asked Sub DivisionalMagistrates (SDMs) to personally monitor the cases pertaining to recoveries sothat the process could be expedited.
He said that this process must be completed at the earliestwithout any delay.

Thori said that any wilful defaulters must not be spared andstern action must be taken against them.
He also said that the recovery of pending arrears from thewilful defaulters needs to be ensured at the earliest.
He said that wilful defaulters should not be allowed to takethe law for granted and every effort must be made to recover the pendingarrears from them at the earliest.
He asked them to update entire revenue record and implementE-Court management system effectively.
