DC Ludhiana & Mamta Ashu dedicate advanced life support ambulance to people

Thank Avon cycles for donating ambulance, e-mortuary van and 15 oxygen concentrators to administration through Samvedna Trust

DeputyCommissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma and Municipal Councillor Mamta Ashu onMonday dedicated an advanced life support ambulance to the people of theLudhiana in Civil Hospital, here.

Thanking AvonCycles Chairman and MD Onkar Singh Pahwa for donating Rs 32 lakh for preparingan ultra-modern hi-tech ambulance, an electronic mortuary van, and 15 oxygenconcentrators, Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma and MunicipalCouncillor Mamta Ashu said that this ambulance would meet the increased demandfor transportation of patients with an advanced life support system.

They said thatthe ambulance has facilities of the ventilators for elder and paediatrics, Air-Conditioning, ECG, oxygen machine, Defibrillator and infusion system, suctionpump, stretcher, oximeters, and first aid kit. Further, they said that themortuary van would provide free-of-cost hearse-related services to the deceasedof Coronavirus and others.

They told thatAvon Cycles Chairman and MD Onkar Singh Pahwa's contribution towards societywould always be remembered and this would help to tackle the predicted thirdwave of the Covid-19 pandemic effectively.

They furtherurged the people to get vaccinated at the earliest and obey the Covid protocolsto avoid the third wave of the pandemic.

They added thatthe state government led by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh iscommitted to ensuring the safety and security of the people besides combatingcoronavirus in the district.

They told thatthe administration has been making strenuous efforts to ensure people do notface any sort of problem and no stone would be left unturned for providingquality health services.
