O/O District Public Relations Officer, Jalandhar, January 1-Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori on Friday called upon all theofficers/officials of the administration to perform their duty with utmostsincerity and dedication in the New Year 2021 to facilitate people coming fortheir day-to-day works in their offices.
Speaking in a New Year meet organized by the staff of theadministrative complex, the Deputy Commissioner said that all the officers/officials must clear the applications or files about public interest at theearliest so that people do not face any sort of inconvenience in availingcitizen-centric services.
He said that the New Year fills us with new hopes andrenewed determination to serve the masses with missionary zeal.
Thori said on the maiden day of New Year everyofficer/official must vow to serve the people with more humility andrighteousness, to ensure that they do not face any sort of problem in gettingtheir day-to-day works done.
The Deputy Commissioner said that every government servantwas duty-bound to serve the people, for which concerted efforts must be made byall of them.

Patting the officers/ officials for doing exemplary workduring the Covid pandemic in 2020, the Deputy Commissioner said that thisglorious tradition needs to be upheld in the coming year also.
He said that the officers/ officials must perform their dutydiligently so that the masses could be benefitted from the pro-people policiesof the Punjab government led by the Chief Minister Captain AmarinderSingh. Wishing the officers/ officials a happy and prosperous New Year, heexpressed hope that they all would excel in their work during the coming year.
Earlier, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jasbir Singh,Assistant Commissioner Hardeep Singh, and others welcomed the DeputyCommissioner on the occasion.
