Thelive telecast of the internal meeting of the PM Narendra Modi on Covid-19situation by Delhi CM has sparked political controversy as BJP has termed theaction as planned and deliberate.
EvenPrime Minister Narendra Modi advised Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tofollow the government protocol and expressed displeasure.
ThePrime Minister had called a virtual meeting of the chief ministers of thestates severely affected by Covid-19 on Friday. During this, Modi came to knowthat this internal meeting is being broadcast live by Arvind Kejriwal's office.
Modirebuked Kejriwal, saying "It is against government protocol that a sittingChief Minister of a state live telecasts an in-house meeting. It is not fair.We should follow the government protocol."
Kejriwalapologized, saying "If I have committed any mistake then I apologize forit. Whatever instructions have been directed in the meeting on Friday, we willfollow those instructions."
Centralgovernment sources alleged that during this virtual meeting, the Delhi ChiefMinister made political statements instead of making suggestions to tackle theCovid-19 situation. The states are being helped by plying the Oxygen Expresstrains by the Indian Railways, but the Delhi government did not make any suchdemand.
Sourcesin BJP also said that this is cheap politics over sensitive issue like covid19and the AAP government for their own political benefits televised the internalmeeting.
