Know how Delhi Police arrested most wanted gangster Kala Jathedi and his girlfriend 'Revolver Rani'

After six months of manhunt, gangsters Revolver Rani and Kala Jathedi were arrested by Delhi Police on Friday afternoon.

A mega-operationspread across twelve states has resulted in the arrest of two most wantedgangsters of north India. Delhi Police have arrested Anuradha Chaudhary, akaRevolver Rani along with Sandeep, popularly known as Kala Jathedi.

Kala was a wantedcriminal with a bounty of Rs 6 lakh from Delhi as well as Haryana Police. Asper the statement by a Delhi Police official, he is accused of leading aninternational syndicate that was involved in contract killings, organizedbootlegging, extortion and land-grabbing. He was arrested from the Saharanpurdistrict of Uttar Pradesh.

Jathedi was on the runsince February 2020, when he escaped from Haryana Police custody. This escapewas a strong and bold attack on the police escort party.

Revolver Rani was awanted criminal with a reward of Rs 10,000. She is having a long criminalrecord; she has committed several crimes including kidnapping, extortion,cheating as well as Arms and Excite Act violation. She was involved in 12criminal cases in Rajasthan and was wanted in the connection of two FIRs.

Police officials haveinformed that Revolver Rani was a close associate of Rajasthan-based gangsterAnandpal Singh, who was killed during a Police encounter in 2017. After Anand’sdeath, she joined Jathedi gang.

Anuradha got herinfamous name Revolver Rani because she used AK47 as a weapon to intimidatepeople.

Anuradha and Sandeepwere on constant run and were changing their location from time to time. Theychanged their locations with the help of fake identities, always pretended tobe a couple and communicated with their associates using code language. Policefurther said that they worked actively in four north Indian states – Delhi,Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

These gangsters haveworked with many jailed gangsters, including, Sube Gujjar, Kala Rana, LawrenceBishnoi.

Deputy Commissioner ofPolice Manishi Chandra told a media agency that both gangsters have beenarrested from a Dhaba at Sharanpur – Yamunanagar highway in Uttar Pradesh. DCPsaid, “The team got some leads connected to Goa and started trailing him fromthere. The search led them to Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh,Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand. The team was finally able tograb footage that showed Kala Jathedi in Sikh attire along with Chaudhary.Until he was caught, we did not have any positive identifiers nor mobile phonedetails to trace his exact location.”
