Adding one more to the list of achievements of the Mobile Wing team led by BK Virdi, Joint Director Investigation and Pawanjit Singh, ACST has seized diamonds worth Rs 1.06 cr from Ludhiana.
The team had detained two persons at Fountain Chowk, Ludhiana. One of the detained persons was a salesman of a Diamond company in possession of loose diamonds. The other one was an employee of a courier company having 4 parcels out of which he could only produce the bill of one parcel.
The Evaluation of the seized diamonds concluded with the price calculated around Rs 1.06 cr.
STO Pawan and Davinder Pannu, Driver Sukhwinder Singh and Amandeep Singh, Constable Partap Singh were also among the team.
Further investigation is going on and updates are awaited.
