Director Kabir Khan confirms that ‘83’ will be a theatrical release only

According to trade pandits, 'Radhe' hasalso indirectly left theaters in India. However, the makers of 'Suryavanshi'and now with '83' Kabir Khan himself has promised that they will not leave thecinema halls. Both films will be released in theaters.

In a recent conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Kabir Khan himselfconfirmed the news. He said, "We were going to come on June 4. In thecurrent circumstances, we will come on the same date or not is not confirmed.But, it is certain that we will release the films in theaters first in anycase. Regardless of how much we have to wait or the audience has to wait. Thebudget for the making of '83' has gone to 200 crores. It will be able to make asolid recovery only when the film is released in theaters. "

Thefilm's assistant directors revealed a different aspect. He said, "The filmis a very high scale visual project. It has 80% heavy VFX, the film hasinnovative locations as well. The scenes of the World Cup matches were shot inEngland. But then the dressing rooms, commentary boxes, hotel rooms of therespective studios were all recreated in the Film City of Mumbai. In simpleterms, the interior of Old Trafford, Grace Road, Oval, Neville Ground,Chelmsford, Lord's was built in India. "

One isclear that the ‘83’ will be a theatrical release only but the question remainswhen? If and whether Covid allows the movie will be released as per the plansor else there might be a shift in the release date again.
