With its newest ship, Disney Adventure, scheduled to home port at Singapore's Marina Bay Cruise Centre beginning in 2025, Disney Cruise Line is prepared to spread its magic throughout Asia. The vessel is scheduled to operate in the area for the ensuing five years, making three to four-night trips.
During a media event in Singapore, Disney Cruise Line offered a glimpse into the Disney Adventure, currently under construction in Germany. The event featured surprise appearances by beloved characters such as Buzz Lightyear, Spider-Man, and Elsa. Sarah Fox, Vice President and Regional General Manager for Asia at Disney Cruise Line, highlighted the ship’s focus on beloved Disney characters and stories of imagination, fantasy, and discovery. "Captain Mickey will embody the spirit of Disney Adventure," she stated.
With a unique feature that allows it to accommodate roughly 6700 passengers and 2500 crew members, Disney Adventure is expected to be an impressive 208,000 gross tons vessel, marking the cruise line's 25th anniversary. Along with integrating design, entertainment, and technology seamlessly, the ship will have seven immersive experience zones. Laura Cabo, Portfolio Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering, referred to the ship as "a treasure map where magic meets the sea."
The seven zones are inspired by Disney storytelling:
Laura Cabo also mentioned that Easter eggs had been hidden throughout the ship. Sarah Fox says that more information about reservations and lodging will be available later.
The information regarding the booking and price details will be disclosed sometime soon in 2024
