Farmers protesting around Delhi have garnered supportfrom international lawmakers, human rights organizations, activists and publicfigures among others. Ever since, Greta Thunberg, a Swedish Climate Activisthas extended support to the farmers and tweeted a 'tookit' for allegedlyhelping the farmers, the situation has intensified on social networking sites.
The Cyber cell unit of Delhi police have registered anFIR against alleged "Pro-Khalistan" entities who are claimed to haveprepared a toolkit for intensifying the protests of farmers. The FIR mentionswaging a "social, cultural and economic war against the Government ofIndia".
Anyesh Roy, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (CyberCell) has said that a letter has been sent to Google and other entities forprocuring information about the creators of this toolkit. The police havesought details about the email ids, URLs and Social Networking accounts mentionedin the toolkit.
Roy said there seems to be an "element ofconspiracy."
Case has been registered under the charges of seditionand criminal conspiracy among others.
