The Met Gala took place on 6 may,2019 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The exotic night commences with a cocktail hour, in which guests walk the red carpet and explore the new exhibition, before sitting down to dinner and the evening's performance. Andrew Bolton, curator of the Costume Institute, played the exhibition around Susan Sontag seminal 1964 essay Notes on "Camp".
Attending the auspicious event costs heavy on the pocket 30,000 per person (or $275,000 per table) just including the entry ticket and adjoining a designer gown and some gaudy jewellery would make it a really expensive evening.

The red carpet witnessed Deepika wearing a custom metallic pink gown and opted for a high puffed ponytail to complete her Barbie look. The actress played safe by dark lip color and matching eye make-up accomplished with glitters. For Priyanka and Nick, it was their first outing at the Met Gala as a married couple where Priyanka wore a custom-made silver Dior gown, with colorful ruffled feathers, a very high leg split, a matching cape along with her big hairstyle that included a crown on top. Her hubby looked stylish in a white tuxedo and glittering silver Christian Loubout in heeled shoes. Actor Michael Urie went for two looks in one.
The show was also attended by Serena Williams (the co host), Lady Gaga Janelle Monae ,Harry Styles and many more international divas.
