Five teachers from Nawanshahr receive State Award on Teachers Day

The State Level Teachers Day Award ceremony was organised at Patiala where the Education Minister, Vijay Inder Singla was the chief guest.

As many as five teachers from Nawanshahr, including,Minakshi Bhall( Headmistress, Government High School, Rakkeran Dhahan), PoojaSharma( Lecturer in English Govt.Sr.Sec.School, Nawanshahr), Ashok Kumar( BPEO,Banga), Neeraj Kumar( Hindi Mistress, Govt.Middle School Bhangal Khurd) andBaljinder Singh Virk ( ETT, Govt.Primary School, Takarala) were conferred withState Awards here at DC Office today.

The State Level Teachers Day Award ceremony was organisedat Patiala where the Education Minister, Vijay Inder Singla was the chiefguest. The virtual Teachers Day Award ceremony was held at all the districtheadquarters where the District Education Officers honoured the award winnerteachers at their respective districts.

District Education Officer( SE), Jagjit Singh, DeputyDistrict Education Officer(SE), Amrik Singh, Deputy District EducationOfficer(Primary), Chhotu Ram, Parmod Bharti, Spokesperson, EducationDepartment, Punjab, presented the awards to the teachers, who have madelaudable contributions  towardsinfrastructural development and qualitative improvement in education in theirrespective schools.

Palvinder Singh and Raj Bhatia ( Both State Awardees),Nirmal Singh( District Media Coordinator), Jagdish Rai, Ranjt Kumar( MISCoordinators), Ravinder Surapuri, Kamaldeep Chaudhary Harpreet Kaur, amongothers, were present on the occasion.
