The Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) has officially launched Round 2 of its pilot phase, offering over 1 Lakh internship opportunities in 730+ districts in India. Announced by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), this scheme is designed for youth aged 21 to 24 who are not currently enrolled in full-time education or employment opportunities, helping young individuals kick-start their careers.

• Monthly stipend: ₹5,000 per intern

A step-by-step guide to applying for the PM internship scheme Round 2 

1. Visit the official PMIS portal 

Eligible candidates should go to the official website of the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (to be provided by the government).  

2. Register on the portal 

Create an account: enter personal details, educational qualifications, and contact information. 

Verify identification: Aadhar or another government-approved ID may be required. 

3. Complete your profile 

Add academic achievements, certificates, and any professional experience.

4. Search for internship
