Amidst heightened tensions after the US Capitolinsurrection and some terming it a 'coup attempt', the social media platform,YouTube has removed new content uploaded on Donald Trump's YouTube channel.
YouTube has suspended the channel for seven days fromuploading new content. However, it has been anticipated that the account may besuspended for more days.
Similarly, while Twitter has removed 70,000 QAnonbelievers' accounts. Twitter in an official statement pointed out that contentgenerated by conspiracy theory believers "has the potential to lead tooffline harm."
Meanwhile, Twitter had banned Donald Trump permanentlyfrom using its services on the context of inflaming Capitol unrest. Twittersaid it will limit the number of posts violating its civic integrity policythat may lead to permanent suspension of more accounts.
