Mandhana and Shifali had scored a 68? 0 in the first 10 overinto the match which brought great leadership to the team and got them the upper handin the match. The duo had everything going good until spinner Sophie Molineuxentered the field and she changed the direction of the game in the 12thover.

While the two had good sync together, there was a little mix up whichled to Mithali Raj being run out at just 8 runs and then soon Yastika alsojoined Mithali after 3 runs. The Indian team did reach the 250 mark because of thecontribution of the players who came after. Pooja Vastrakar scored 29 whileJhulan scored 28 with not out.

The combined ahead start was a big advantage forthe team during the match which covered up most of the damage caused soon after.
