Indonesia trains and hires 8 women to punish those found guilty of breaking Sharia law

Aceh region of Indonesia is governed by Sharia law. In this area of the country, whipping in public remains a punishment for those found guilty of adultery, drinking alcohol, and having gay or pre-marital sex as well as gambling

In Aceh region of Indonesia, female flogging squad has been recruited to punish women charged with moral offences. As per reports  the first punishment was administered to an unmarried woman found in a hotel with a man.
