PrimeMinister Narendra Modi on Sunday appealed to countrymen to seek all Covidrelated information only through correct sources and not to fall prey tomisinformation.
Addressingthe nation in the 76th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat', Modi said, "If you needany information, if you have any apprehension, get the information only fromthe correct source."

Manydoctors are providing information to people through social media. They arecounseling on phone and WhatsApp. Many hospitals have websites where informationis available, so do check authentic sources.
ThePrime Minister informed the countrymen that in the days gone by, to tide overthis crisis, he had long deliberations with experts from various sectors.
"Peoplefrom our Pharma industry, vaccine manufacturers, those connected with oxygenproduction, experts from the medical field have put forth their valuablesuggestions to the government. This time, to emerge victorious in this battle,we have to accord priority to experts and scientific advice," he said.
Governmentof India is using its entire might to give a fillip to the endeavours of StateGovernments and the State Governments too are trying their best to fulfilltheir responsibilities.
"Presently,the country's doctors and health workers are waging a colossal battle againstCorona," the Prime Minister said.
Healso appealed to people not to fall prey to any rumour about vaccine. "Allare getting aware of the importance of vaccine, so it is my appeal, don't getswayed by any rumour about the vaccine," he said.
Hefurther stated: "You all must be knowing that people above 45 years of agecan benefit from the free vaccine that has been sent to all state governmentsby the government of India."
Hehighlighted that now from May 1 onwards, the vaccine is going to be madeavailable for every person above 18 years in the country. Now the CorporateSector, companies too will be able to participate in the programme ofadministering vaccine to their employees.
"Ialso want to say that the programme of free vaccine by the government of India,that is going on now, will continue further too. I appeal also to the states toextend the benefit of this free vaccine campaign of government of India tomaximum number of people of their state," the Prime Minister said.
Hementioned that after successfully confronting the first wave of Corona, thecountry was full of enthusiasm, full of self-confidence, but this storm (secondwave) has shaken the country.
Duringhis monthly radio programme, Modi interacted with doctors, nurses and otherhealth care workers.
