Indian MedicalAssociation organised a 7-Day Annual Sports Meet 2021 in Jalandhar. The event beganwith a marathon from IMA Hall on November 7. They will be drawing the curtainson sports meet on Sunday, November 14. On the last day, Ms. Khyati Kohli, ManagingDirector True Scoop will be inaugurating the Athletic Meet at Innocent HeartsFields, Nakodar Road, Loharan.
After this, aprize distribution function is scheduled which will be presided over by CabinetMinister S. Pargat Singh at Hotel Regent Park, Jalandhar. Also, Dr. Bishav Mohan(DM Cardiology), Professor, Medical Superintendent, Ludhiana will share hisviews on ‘Challenges in the Diagnosis & Management of Pulmonary Embolism’before the prize distribution function.
The AnnualSports Meet began on November 7. Different sporting events were scheduled ondifferent days. Kids participated with full enthusiasm in various games likecarom, badminton, table-tennis, etc. A cricket match was also played among theteams of doctors out of which a winner and a runner-up were selected and weregiven prizes.
In the AthleticMeet, 100m race, 200m race, javelin throw, long jump, high jump and relay race willbe played on November 14.
