Trump has announced that America will withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement. He said that a 25 percent tariff will be imposed on Mexico and Canada as well. It is expected that the rule may come into effect from February.
Trump has declared a national emergency on the southern Mexican border. Armed forces will be sent there. He will re-implement the policy of forcing refugees to wait in the US and Mexico. He will reinstate the death penalty, which Biden had suspended.
The countries of the world have made this agreement to limit the global temperature to 1.5 degrees Celsius above the pre-industrial level to avoid the ill-effects of climate change. However, Trump has called this agreement a fraud.
