Major decisions by Trump post-oath: US leaves WHO, ends birthright citizenship, abolishes third gender & more

On January 20^th, Monday, President Donald Trump took oath as the 47th President of America. Following this, he made many big announcements. After becoming the President, Trump took many rapid decisions.

After taking oath, Trump said that the golden age of America has begun. Shortly after taking oath, President Trump signed several orders.

Trump's aides said he would issue a number of orders soon after being sworn in, aimed at changing US immigration policies and eliminating birthright citizenship.

Trump has announced that America will withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement. He said that a 25 percent tariff will be imposed on Mexico and Canada as well. It is expected that the rule may come into effect from February.

Trump has declared a national emergency on the southern Mexican border. Armed forces will be sent there. He will re-implement the policy of forcing refugees to wait in the US and Mexico. He will reinstate the death penalty, which Biden had suspended.

• President Trump signed an order pardoning 1,500 people convicted of the attack on Capitol Hill on 6^th January 2021.
• Trump signed an executive order to begin the process of withdrawing the US from the World Health Organisation (WHO).

• A wall will be built on the Mexican border. A 25 percent tariff will be imposed on Mexico and Canada.

America will be out of Paris Climate Agreement:

The countries of the world have made this agreement to limit the global temperature to 1.5 degrees Celsius above the pre-industrial level to avoid the ill-effects of climate change. However, Trump has called this agreement a fraud.

After the oath taking ceremony, Trump reached the Oval Office. He signed multiple executive orders. Additionally, he cancelled a total of 78 decisions of the Biden government. He said that first of all he will cancel those 80 decisions implemented in the Biden administration as they are becoming an obstacle in the development of America.
