#PowerOfSocialMedia: Missing Arman reunited with father in few hours

The general public is often unaware of the power of socialmedia. A common perception of the social media like Twitter, Facebook,Instagram, and other websites and apps is that these for time-pass.

But social media can also be helpful in meeting someone whois separated. One such example is Arman, who went missing yesterday.

The son of retired Lieutenant Colonel Vineet Pasi wentmissing near Ladhewali Road 2 on Saturday. The young boy has been found fromSinghu Border of Delhi.

In fact, after Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singhtweeted on Sunday night, Delhi Police Chief Constable Joginder identified thechild.

Arman's father said he received information from Ramamandion Monday morning that the Delhi Police head constable had met Arman Singh atthe border.

The boy also had a green bicycle. The boy was handed over tothe colonel on his arrival in Delhi.

Within hours of the Chief Minister's tweet, news of the boywent viral on social media and was similarly identified by a constable postedat the Singhu border in Delhi.

The colonel's son took his bicycle in the afternoon and didnot return till night, after which a search was conducted and a complaint waslodged in Ramamandi.

When the news went viral on social media, CM also tweeted toDGP himself and was ordered to find the child.

After finding the child, the CM was also informed of thesuccess in reuniting the boy and his family.

SHO Sulukhan Singh observed that the child himself could notgo so far on a bicycle, he seems to have reached here on a vehicle.
