MP Tewari condemns central government's stubborn attitude towards farm laws

Addressing the media, Tewari said that farmers have been struggling for the last several months to protect their rights against farming laws. During this period, 9 rounds of meetings have been held with the central government, but the government is still adopting a stubborn attitude rather than accepting the demands of the farmers.

Manish Tewari, MP from Shri Anandpur Sahib, has condemnedthe stubborn attitude of the central government in not withdrawing the farminglaws despite several meetings with the farmers' organizations. Tewari wasaddressing a program organized at the residence of Satvir Singh Pallizhikki,chairman of the Nawanshahar District Planning Board.

Addressing the media, Tewari said that farmers have beenstruggling for the last several months to protect their rights against farminglaws. During this period, 9 rounds of meetings have been held with the centralgovernment, but the government is still adopting a stubborn attitude ratherthan accepting the demands of the farmers.

MP Tewari said that the Congress party has always been infavor of the farmers. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Captain AmarinderSingh, the party brought a resolution in the Assembly against these laws. Hesaid that he has been in charge of Gujarat Congress and knows the trend ofPrime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP very well. Similarly, he alsocongratulated the local people for their success in the fight against Coronainfection.

On this occasion, among others present includes, Satvir SinghPallizhikki, Chairman, Pawan Dewan, Chairman Punjab Large Industrial DevelopmentBoard, SDM Viraj Tirke, Dharvjit Singh, Chairman market committee Banga, Dr Harpreetsingh , Rajinder Sharma and DSP GP Singh.
