MSME secretary resigned, likely to bag role in UP Govt

Sharma was a secretary, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Earlier he served as secretary in Prime Minister's Office for five years.

Arvind Kumar Sharma, a senior IAS officer of Gujaratcadre voluntarily resigned on the pretext of getting a role in YogiAdityanath's government.

Known to be enjoying full confidence of Prime MinisterNarendra Modi, he was a secretary, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).Earlier he served as secretary in Prime Minister's Office for five years.

Sharma belongs to Uttar Pradesh. He served in the Modi'sChief Minister Office in Gujarat.

Sharma was asked to take premature retirement becausedecision to induct him in the government was taken in a meeting of CMAdityanath of UP with PM Modi.

Recently, former Director General of Police (DGP) Lawand Order from Uttar Pradesh, Me Brij Lal was elected to the upper house of theParliament on BJP ticket.
