What is so unsatisfactory about Thunder Force?

In general, the superhero genre features perfect bodies, and viewsglorify the same. The superheroes of the genre poured into tight costumes havebecome sex symbols. For superheroes, glamour is a virtue and an imperfect bodyis generally not so admired. These unrealistic yet believable superheroes areseen beating up villains who are fat, bald, dis-formed, and simply not so attractive.

But, “Thunder Force” was expected to break all these stereotypes andcreate an example. The film featuring, middle-aged actors, Melissa McCarthy, and Octiva Spencer were all set to fight villains and being funny.

Anyhow, the film does nothing as anticipated, instead co-signs with therestrictive body standards. The jokes are not funny, the plot is familiar andboring, and director Ben Falcone has missed opportunities.
