In a move to further accelerate the inoculation drive ofall above the age of 45, the district administration is set to start campaign‘Vaccination at Your premises’ for all the malls, factories, eating joints andother commercial establishments where daily gathering exceeds a total of of 200to provide a shield to them from Covid.
Divulging the details, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said that the owners of suchestablishments can send their particulars on email ID covidvaccinationjal@gmail.comor through what's app 9888981881, 9501799068.
The information to be send onlyin prescribed performa, which is also being shared by administration withconcerned establishments adding he said that one ID proof is required to holdvaccination camp in a premises, which is to be sent along with the performa.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the campaign aims towider coverage of all the entitled beneficiaries who do not want to visit thesession sites due to queues or other hesitancy issues. He mentioned that as pergovernment's directives all people above the age of 45 to be inoculated withinthis month.
He said that we will facilitate allmalls/factories/eating joints in getting the Covid vaccination camp insidetheir precincts for which they just need to send details through an email in aset format which would be sharing to them following which administration wouldreach to them and organize the camp there.
He added that only accelerated vaccination can help tobuild herd immunity by breaking the transmission chain of the virus.
Thori said that the administration is already makingall-out efforts to ramp up the immunization drive to ensure every eligiblereceive the jab into his/her left arm at the earliest.
Deputy Commissioner appealed the people older than 45 tocome forward and take the shot into nearby health centres/hospitals byaccepting it as a social responsibility to beat the virus.
