Odisha is prepared for Covid vaccination: CM Naveen Patnaik

Patnaik said that he would review the livelihood program with the district Administration and Bank authorities on December 22 on the lending programs to farmers and MSMEs.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday announced that the Odisha government is completely prepared for Coronavirus vaccination in the state and the logistics system has been established for its smooth execution. 

“The vaccination process in the country is likely to start soon and for that complete database has been prepared in Odisha and a logistics system has been set up for smooth conduct of the Vaccination process,” said Patnaik during the review of Covid-19 situation in the state, as quoted by the state government’s press release.

The chief minister also instructed the administrative machinery to remain careful and alert to deal with the economic challenges and crisis caused by Covid-19 pandemic. 

Patnaik further said that the State government is working with the purpose of livelihood generation.

Patnaik said that on December 22, he would be reviewing the livelihood program with the district Administration and Bank authorities on the lending programs to farmers and MSMEs.

CM Patnaik said that any carelessness in providing these livelihood programs to people “would not be tolerated”. 

According to the Union Health Ministry, there are 2,978 active cases in and 323029 confirmed cases in Odisha.
