The Indian Army in valley has been doing a lot of events throughoutthe valley to keep the youth engaged and groom them for the future. It sends studentsto outside states to learn other culture, appreciate diversity and inclusivenessat the same time.
On Saturday army organised classes for the students belongingto the remote areas of Mandian, kundian, Naga, kuchiban, Banwali, Dogapatti, Attarand Sapanwali. All these areas belong to kupwara disrict of Kashmir valley. Theinitiative was launched under Operation Sadbhavana, a program framed to engage theresidents of valley with army to help building a better tomorrow in valley.
The aim of the “winter tuition classes”, is to maintain continuitywhile enhancing the elementary knowledge base of the students. Students are to beprepared so that they can be groomed into responsible citizens. Classes were withthe help of local teachers with the support of village population.
Speaking about the project “ Sadbhavana” Shabir Khatana, a localteacher of a remote village, states that winter tuition are an excellent initiativeled by the Indian Army.
These tuitions bridge the gap between children of remote villagenear the line of control and children from hinterland with better connectivity.
A total of 380 students were part of this initiative that benefitted12 villages of Kupwara district”.
