After the Assembly elections result of Punjab, Navjot Singh Sidhu blamed Channi for the defeat

Today Punjab Pradesh CongressCommittee (PPCC) President Navjot Singh Sidhu arrived at Amritsar’s Verka tomeet his supporters. He interacted with the supporters and encouraged them.During this, he described himself as a sportsman. He said that he is asportsman. While being a cricketer, sometimes he got out on zero and sometimesscores a century. 
Whenasked about the defeat, he blamed the outgoing Chief Minister Charanjit SinghChanni for Congress’s defeat in Punjab. He said that when the CM face wasannounced, he shook hands with Channi and told him that now the responsibilityis his. 
Navjotsaid that he always supported Channi and also campaigned for him. When askedabout not doing a Campaign outside Amritsar East, he refused to takeresponsibility for the defeat. He said that it was Channi’s responsibility, nothis. 
He saidthat he has sportsmen spirit. Winning or losing is not a question for him.People have voted for AAP for a change and he congratulates them. He also saidthat people who tried to dig pits in his way fell into it. 
Theblame game in the Congress Party has started after defeat in the AssemblyElections. Many big names from the party failed to protect their seats againstthe other candidates. 
Theresult of the Punjab Assembly Elections held on February 20 was declared yesterday, in which AAP won 92 seats and Congress got only 18 out of 117. NavjotSingh Sidhu also lost his seat. After the defeat he tweeted, “The voice of thepeople is the voice of God …. Humbly accept the mandate of the people of Punjab…. Congratulations to Aap !!!”
